UPDATE: Weight and lane restrictions for SR 25-Columbia River Bridge at Northport

Bridge inspections by Washington State Department of Transportation bridge engineers revealed extensive corrosion on the State Route 25 bridge that crosses the Columbia River at Northport. Eastbound I-90 traffic shifts to express lanes for weekend starting Friday, Jan. 13

Drivers heading east across Lake Washington should plan ahead for construction and delays Friday, Jan. 13 through Monday, Jan. 16 due to ongoing work to add around-the-clock HOV lanes to Interstate 90. Beginning at 11 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, until 5 a.m. Monday, Jan. 16, eastbound I-90 will be reduced to a single lane near Rainier Avenue South in Seattle, and all traffic will be routed into the express lanes. WSDOT aviation grants fuel airport improvements

Airports throughout Washington got the financial fuel to make their programs soar in fiscal year 2017, and the Washington State Department of Transportation manned the pump. WSDOT recently published its quarterly performance and accountability report, the Gray Notebook, which details how state airports used $1.8 million from WSDOT’s Airport Aid Grant Program to leverage more than $59.7 million in local and federal contributions.
